Making clothes
I have decided to start Crochet as an alternative to watching TV, any ideas of what I should make, it all looks so home made, it is kind of strange.
so far I have made a 10" square and it took most of a day.
the yarn available is mostly in strange colors, like shiny pink and drab grays.
I need to start making my own, anyone know how to make dies?,
I want to try purple cabbage to die the cotton I have.

They have dyes at the store that you can buy.

For doing clothes, you might want to invest in one of those knitting "looms" then you can do broad areas in one swipe.
I thought about it, but I cant figure out how to make one, and they cost lots for something that seems so easy to build, yes I see the logic flaw, but I do not see a way out of it.
ok, you convinced me, I will build a loom, and start weaving fabric, or should I just buy one, but they cost so much...
