ok, so the hp 1020 is sort of compatible with vista.
let windows find and auto install the printer,
maybe install the newest xp driver,
it will not work,
then turn off the spooling,
then change the print engine to something and the other setting to raw.
or something like that,
then it works fine.

I have made the best ice cream ever

I used one quart of half and half, the one from trader joes
one teaspoon of peppermint extract, schilling, unintentionally aged 5 years in my cabinet
half cup of sugar, the trader joes organic sugar from evaporated cane juice.

it is just so good,
it tastes like magic

microsoft vista is really not that bad,
I would like my computer to work wit my printer,
so I will likely wipe it out and install XP,
but after I got rid of google desktop that was pre installed,
vista was really quite usable.

so my review is that it has really no point, but not it is not bad,
think of it as a differnt version of xp that is still in version one.

the hp laserjet 1020 will not work with the vista operating system.
i am sort of annoyed.

so, my computer that was giving me keyboard problems, started giving me more of them,
so, instead of getting an external keyboard, I decided to try an fix it,
the connector where the keyboard connects to the main board snapped off with relative ease.
so, because I had a bios password, and I had set the bios not to recognize usb keyboards,
so, I have a computer that I cant use at all.
I can solder the connector back on, but I do not think I have the soldering iron that would work for such a small connector.

I like my new toshiba, even if it did take 25 min. to boot the first time.

the keyboard on my computer is adding extra characters when I type,
mostly on the right side of the keyboard,
but has seemed to gone away for the moment,
so I will not be posting much (copy and paste still works )
till I get a new keyboard or computer ...

so, I came up with a new outgoing phone message

then I started thinking that I should just do this for real, gardening just does not fill all my time.

my car has been pinging for about 6 months now,
I had been using 76 gas, I changed to valero and it still pinged,
I thought my car was broken,
then I got chevron gas and it stopped pinging and got 20% better mileage,
but some of the chevron gas pings in my car.

so, my point is that lots of the gas is low quality when compared with a year ago.
this review refers to the 91 octane only.

on the news is a story about some parts of Australia having to be evacuated because there is just no more water.
the climate is changing,
I think this is the first case of this in modern times,
nature usually wins, but
people are like cockroaches, nothing will take us out.
