I asked one of my friends last night what he thought the world would be like if the internet had not been used on a mass scale.
he seemed to think that was the 1980s and that nothing would have changed if the internet had not showed up.
what do you think ?

I had been brushing my teeth with arm & hammer baking soda tooth powder, and when I went to get more of it last week I found that it was not in any store, so I called the 800 number on the package, and the automated system told me that it was discontinued.
so after much looking into it I found that calcium carbonate (precipitated chalk) was the main ingredient in the old formulas from 100 years ago, so I got some (at a brewery supply store), and tried it.
it works well all on its own, but it is kind of chalky tasting.
I posted this on the wrong blog the first time.

I have been making a new thing for lunch that I really like. it is 3 corn tortillas cooked in olive oil and on top of that I put boiled lentils and buckwheat, then I sprinkle salt on top. it is really good, you should try it.
I took pictures but they were all white, I should have turned off the flash, so just imagine this posting with the pictures.

I put minus green light in my bathroom.
what is strange about it is that the spiders that I cant seem to get rid of because when there is light, they hide, and they don't run from the minus green light.
I do not know what to make of it.

I went with friends to S.F.
it was really fun, we went shopping all over the place and walked about 6 miles.
there were 5 stores I should mention.

one is at 539 valencia, I so not remember the name, they sell belly dancing supplies, and sparkly things, and things like that, they have good prices.

the pirate supply store is 826 valencia, it is really fun, and the store next door is are really fun as well.

there was the store I got some shoes at happy trails, 1726 Haight Street, phone number 415 831 bang

then I found the store across the street, 1649 Haight st, it was called the "so good jewelry" store, I would have called it the shiny store, I think it was brightest store I have ever been in, they sold shiny jewelry with little stones set in them, so shiny, I think the sun is less shiny. at the Kid robot store I got a lunch box that had strawberries and text "a srtawberry mind" written on one side, it is so cute.

there is one store on Haight st, but I do not know the address, but I really meant to write down the address or name, but I forgot to, it was on the north side of the street, more south than most stores, but not in lower haight, there was an elephant on the sign, and you had to push sheer fabric out of the way to enter.
they were the nicest people I have ever seen, they gave me a free quarts crystal with the tiny saute I got, and then offered me a cup of tea, and a slice of kiwi after I paid them. it is so nice to know that there are such nice people out there, the next time I want a small statue of an Indian god, I am going there.

Have you ever woke up and it was not today, I am sure glad that I always wake up in the correct day, but I might not know how to wake up tomorrow or yesterday, any ideas on how to do that ?

have you ever been told that you should change the belts in your car every 60K miles, I wanted to save the 40 $, and now I know that I should have changed them, or at least checked the tension, no, I checked the tension, I wonder if oil is leaking on it ? Who needs power steering anyway.

I think communication failures are very interesting, often I think it is a small one, but then after 30 min. Of talking it out I think it is still there.
but I have never been so upset about a communication failure before.

cells that reproduce have shown up in rain as if they came fron space, they cant find DNA in them, but they do reproduce.

This year I plan on growing peanuts.
onions are also on the list.
and potatoes are likely to take over the back yard as well.

anyone need any seeds, I trade as well as just give them away.
I am looking for barley seeds, I think that is all I am missing from my collection, ok, I am also missing oat seeds, but they will not grow well here.

any ideas of what else to grow?

I need internet at home, I was going to post something, but I cant remember what it was.
was it going to be about the story I wrote during the weekend, was it that dream I had last night about having highlights in my hair?
or was it to say that if you are allergic to your laundry detergent, it is really worth the effort to wash everything you touch, I slept very well last night, for the first time in about a week.
I am so tired after doing so much over the weekend, I may never know what I was going to post.

this is kind of a funny tv show
I wathced all of it last night, and listened to about half of it.
next time i will record it.
anyone know the digital over the air channle for nbc 11 ?

so I colored my hair and 2.5 days later I started having an allergic reaction to it.
I tried to figure out how to fix it.
I finally got through to the people that made it and they told me 2 things that I thought might help.
first is that the dye I used is on the outside of the hair.
the next thing they told me to do is to see a doctor, they even said that they would pay for it.
I knew that the doctor would have me do the safe thing and cut my hair off, but I like my hair.
so keeping in mind that it was only on the outside, I washed my hair, alternately with Ajax, sunlight, and bar soap, then dried my hair, then did it all again, I just kept doing this, it was not until I added washing it in vinegar that I had to stop, the vinegar hurt really bad.
no more of the color washes down the drain when I wash my hair, so I think I am fine.
my skin is still hurting, but in strange places, like my hands and feet.
the benadryl helped with the pain, but but not as much as I would have liked.

so, I guess I can't experiment with new things, even if I do it on a weekend so I have a whole day to fix it if something goes wrong.

so, my advice to others is not to try new things if your life sucks from allergies.

and I found out that I don't think well when in pain for extended lengths of time.
while I was washing everything in my apartment, I cleaned my laptop computer, I like how clean it looks.
tonight it is carpet cleaning day, maybe more warm blankets as well.
