I was looking at the medical news and spotted this article

while I was reading it, I was annoyed that they do not know why people hold on to old beliefs.

I think it is because science is always saying that they thought that they knew what was going on with something and then later say that they were wrong.

for example, how do we know that some genetically modified food will not damage the microbes inside our bodies and take years or a few generations to show up.
the answer is that we can't really tell scientifically, but then again, no one has ever looked.

doing what people before you did for thousands of years is usually safe, even if incorrect.
why do the scientist not see what is going on ?

I am looking for the Fight Scenes that had the most impact emotionally.

potato and an onion cut into cubes and then boiled.

so, I was driving back from walnut creek and just about to enter the tunnel and my car starts running very bad, and the check engine light starts flashing.
so I exit onto fish ranch road and pull over.
I open the hood, and, yes the engine is still there, no apparent damage.
I drive it home, and it is apparent that at least one cylinder is not working.
after I get home I check with the computer and the error is "p 304"
that means cylinder #4 is misfiring.
so, I am hoping that it is just a spark plug melted or something.
it had moments of running fine, that is till I hit the gas.
it is cooling off so that I can remove the spark plugs, it should be ok at 8 or so, guess I should get a flashlight ready.
I want a ride to dinner.

so, I get the feeling that I need a power outlet in the trunk of my car.
it is hard to install that.
first I have run large wires from the battry in the front of the car to the trunk,
its hard to fit such big wires with out seeing them.
next I need a 250A fuse, I will try to get that tonight at west marine.
mounting an inverter in the trunk also looks hard, not sure how to do it,
2 sided sticky tape seems like a good solution, but can it hold 11 pounds from moving ?
soon I will be able to use a microwave oven in the trunk of my car.
or plug in the vedio survalence unit that I want to put in in the car, but the cameras are the things that started this whole mess in the first place.
I bet it will be nice when I get it all done.

A yaris was at the stop light next to my car this morning.
it was so cute.
the light turned green.
I cleared the intersection in the same amount of time it took to get to the second crosswalk line.
it was so cute.
I want one, but having no money, I will go for repainting the mitsubishi, I will take pictures and post them later so we can play with photoshop.

this was a strange movie,
kind of animated,
it looked like they used an animation filter on what they actually filmed.
the story was kind of funny,
it was sad,
and it may have had a happy ending if you looked at it right,
but I thought it was really just sad.

I am so sad,
I dont know what to do.
I guess I will try to fix it.

so, I went to see The Devil Wears Prada
it was funny.
I liked it.
it could have been because of who I went to see it with.
I had a great friday night.

I pulled a piece off the toilet paper roll this morning
and a spider fell off of it.
the spider hit the trash can with a loud thud.
it looked like it knocked it out because it was not moving.
I came back in 5 min. and it had not moved.
when I came back in 30 min. it had left
I guess everything gets caught off guard sometimes.
and it recovered.

I think one of my best friends is really upset at me.
I was talkin g to her on my home phone, and my cell phone rang, she asked what the sound was, I tild her, then I herd nothing, I did not know what to think, so I waited to call her back figuring she hung up,
no, she thoght I hung up on her to answer my other phone
I think my new home phone has probles with the radio frequancy of the mobile phone.
I know that someone I care about is anoyed at me, and I am so sorry.
I do not think ther is anything I can do about it.
this day really sucks.

It sucks.
they changed the laws at the end of last year.
this prohibited the 1% of the people that were filing from doing so.
MBNA America changed my interest rate by a large amount very soon after this change.
when I called them to tell how they have raised my interest rate more than I could afford, they replied that I was now in a high risk category and that they had to raise my rates, and told me how much they thought I made per year, they were wrong, they thought I made enough to not be eligible for chapter 7 bankruptcy.
they were unconcern that I could not pay the higher rates, and suggested that I go to a credit consolidation company and that they were absolutely unwilling to deal with me. The company they sent me to gave me a deal that was about the same as the credit card company offered me.
so I researched what was going on and how to get out of it.
I found out that the credit card companies set up most of the consolidation companies.
ok, fine, I researched other consolidation companies, they offered deals that I could not afford.
then I looked into bankruptcy, the only option left to me,
just telling everyone that I messed up and let the state of California do with me what they will.
I found the Moran law group, they are very nice and I hope have saved me for 1.5 months of minimum payments of my credit cards, I an thankful to them.
my case will be herd next month.
I was really messed up emotionally about the whole thing, and was having really bad days.
on the way home from the required training (part of the new laws to show you if you are doing this un nessary) some guy in a big pickup truck hit my car,
this just tossed me over an edge that I just gave up.
so, I am more relaxed now, and I am still out of money, attorney fees, fixing my car , 500 deductible, now a new battery and tires, brakes and alignment. I am still broke.

before all this there was I light at the end of the tunnel that kept getting farther and farther away, and the water at the bottom of the well was rushing at me.

now I might be free.

I just thought I would share this story with everyone, now that I have put it down, I don't know why I wanted to share it.
I guess it was to tell people how evil credit card companies are, MBNA called me after I quit paying them for a few moths and they called willing to deal with me. When all this started to happen, I called twice just to make sure I did not get a messed up person,
these people are deceptive and entirely evil, don't feel bad for them, they are virtually unregulated and bankruptcy is the way the government has given you to escape them,
I encourage people to use it if they need it, you do not have to suffer to make th credit card companys rich.
no comments on this post because I do not want to here anything bad, I have already listened to it all, I feel bad, but there is nothing I can do about it now, so respectfully, go to hell you nay sayers.

The shop that I had fix my car took 2 weeks longer than the estimate to fix it.
this does not really bother me.
they returned it with a broken battery, they messed it up.
they returned it with tire wear that can only happen by sliding all 4 tires with the gas or the breaks to the floor.
second gear now makes more noise than first.
the brakes have been worn noticeably and need fixed.
they drove it about 12 miles and it is justified.
they would have to have drove the shit out of it to wear the tires 6 months worth of normal driving.
I knew that the tires had about 15% tread left, about the same as the breaks, but I don't have the money to replace them right now, I was expecting to replace these things in the fall.
so I could probably drive it for about a month, but they also broke the battery.

you might be wondering what shop did this,
my review of shattuck auto collision center at 3207 shattuck avenue, Berkeley, CA 94705 (510) 848-6281 is bad because they did things, or let things happen at the shops they sent it to, that were not fair to me, and I am upset.
on the plus side, the car looks great, good job, if it would just start it would be nice.

I am just really annoyed, I have a plan for dealing with it, but I need to test the battery and get the tire alignment print out, I am fairly sure they messed up the settings (it handles like shit now), before I call them to complain.
don't let this happen to you, buy a car that is no fun to drive, or
just disable the turbocharger, all you have to do is disconnect the waistgate valve, then it is no fun to drive, I am doing this to my other car when I get it painted.

The idea has been put forward that there should be a blog like device that many people post to, but only one person reads.
this sounded like a good idea for about 40 min.
