question
My sister has a question
she is catholic and want to know if having relations with her boyfriend is going against god, the church or both.
she is still legally married to the last guy.
she says she will not quit, but now that she is catholic, she feels bad about doing it.

Being able to divorce is why Henry VIII created the Church of England. But Catholics doctrine isn't so strict as to forbid divorce. Except that you won't be able to go to the good heaven, you'll have to go to the second rate heaven for drunks, divorcés, and sodomites.
so are you sugesting that she should just cut his head off ? I am sure that would cheer her up.
seriously, I tried to get her to make her own church, or just go to another one, but she cant get anywhere (no car or public transit) so she just started crying. she started drinking again, and it looks like its helping.
and it was just the one priest that told her it was not OK, she will not even get a second opinion.
