What makes you think this path is the less entertaining one? You should just appreciate it for what it is. Just think it could be worse. You can be in the alternate reality where you live in Fresno next to the crack house.
 

Yeah, Roger is right. The grass is always greener. Maybe the goal shouldn't be to get to the best universe, but to make the universe you are in the best.
 

jarrold, the grass is greener on the other side, I have been there, just trust me, and I don't think you quite got the point of the question. the idea is that every choice you make takes you to a diffrent universe, even no decision takes you somewhere.

I think I see what you're getting at. Well, you are probably on the right track with the kindnesses you do for others. But you should maybe get rid of one of your cars, I think that would make for a better universe.
