Tribe World

I found the strangest TV show, it is a kids show.
I can't figure out what country it comes from.
it is on sat. at 4pm ch. 20, and it is 30 min. long
the website, www.tribeworld.com

to get an idea of what it is trying to teach kids read an example from the website. http://www.tribeworld.com/life/archive/worldview/worldview_archive_103.asp
if you watch it, leave me a comment on what you think of it and the concept.
I am suprised to see something like this.

Comments:
Americans are so car-centric a show like this would be groundbreaking here. But in practical terms... it'd be tough to get kids to walk more when you have to cross two freeways just to go to a Walmart.

Many European countries have public "rights of way" which are pedestrian pathways, centuries old, that criss-cross the countryside. In the UK the rule is something like as long as one person uses it a year it remains public land and no landowner may make it inaccessible. So you have these hiking groups that keep paths public by mapping and using them.

Did you know all beaches are rights of way for Californians? We should be able to walk from Mexico to Oregon, but a lot of homeowners have build walls right into the ocean. The rich in Southern California are particularly guilty of this.

One thing about the show... the Mad Max Road Warrior look is kinda weird to me. But that makes it EXTREME, I guess.

the public beach law can usually only be used by a team of people on a baot.
when one uses the beach the other stands gaurd with a gun, and yes you will need to use it.

that is really cool about the paths in europ.

Haven't seen the show yet, but I'm pretty sure it's made in New Zealand
