New lunch

I have been making a new thing for lunch that I really like. it is 3 corn tortillas cooked in olive oil and on top of that I put boiled lentils and buckwheat, then I sprinkle salt on top. it is really good, you should try it.
I took pictures but they were all white, I should have turned off the flash, so just imagine this posting with the pictures.

I hope you have learned to use salt. That curry thing you made had no taste!

Here's a lentil tip. Boil your lentils in chicken broth, not water. THEN while the lentils are cooking, chop up one slice of bacon and a couple cloves of garlic. Sautee those in some olive oil, then add to the cooking lentils (all of it... the olive oil, bacon bits, bacon fat, and sauteed garlic bits).

This is guaranteed to be the best lentils you have ever had.

interesting, sounds good, got a meet free version of that?
I have been adding olive oil to the lentils and cooking them a minut after in the oil, then I add salt before I eat it.
you could have asked for salt at the party.

You actually offered me salt, so don't worry. But I was surprised you hadn't added it yourself.

Maybe you were being a considerate host, some people don't like salt, I guess.
